Thanks everybody for the kind words.

I've been running it through a few PhotoShop filters to try and lighten it without ruining the fact that it was taken at night, but that one's the best I've accomplished at this point...  :)

I don't usually adjust pics. I just squint at my moon pics, and revel in the darkness :D

Last night was pretty. I didn't have my camera :-\  Sure as anything if I try to look for the same setting tonight, it won't be there. Summer sure is amazingly pretty though. Especially since the sun sets so late. Evenings are stunning.

Absurd no?

And the weirdest part, we have some white orb in the sky called the moon. That's just sickening.  :D ;D :P ;) :)

Last night I was at a buddy's place...

We had some fun with our cell-phone cameras...

here's a panorama pic I made from 3 different pic's...
Not perfect, but pretty good non the less, IMHO...

Here's a GIF-animasion I made of the "hurtigruten"
(literal translation: Express-route), which has a long and
significant history as a means of transportation between
small towns such as the one I live in...
It goes from Bergen, in western Norway, to Kirkenes, located
a couple of miles away from my place, right next to the
Russian-Norwegian border...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurtigruten

and here's the Holy Reverend... ;)

On a side note, a few minutes later, things that Hmed said started to make sense...

 ;) ;D :D

^ *snorts*

This probably isn't the best picture from last night as far as composition, or focus. But, it's one of my favorites for some reason... I guess because it caught a feel/mood. It was actually a quick over the shoulder one-off after we'd gathered stuff and were hurrying back to our car before the crowds got rushed, and traffic got bad. It was one of those 'parting shots' where you take in the whole scene, and try to store memories because you're not ready for a night to end.
