I've had a couple of bad days with my daughter having a suspected appendicitis. I was in the hospital for 10 hours yesterday.

She had an ultrasound this moring and she's ok. It looks like it could be a false alarm as the pain has subsided.

Scary poo!

Good news then Smokes, went through similar with number one son, who did have the operation though, was told the tell sign of appendicitis is being oe feeling sick .

For most of that 10 hours you could tell they were convinced she had an appendicitis as all the signs were there. It was only when the paediatric surgeon examined her they she thought is might be something else more innocuous disguising itself as an appendicitis.

So far, it looks like she was right.

They think it may have been a "mid-cycle" event that got a bit sore in exactly the area where the appendix is.

Hopefully that's right as I really don't want her to have to go through that again.

It's lucky I gave up eggs after my cholesterol issues as, apparently, the UK will have no eggs until after Christmas.

It's a mix of a massive outbreak of avian flu and something to do with rising costs.

It's odd: I haven't eaten eggs for months but now I know I cant get them, I really want an omelette.

So, there were craploads of eggs in Asda today so I'm also leaning towards goldie's conspiracy theory. Odd thing is that there are none in the convenience branches of supermarkets that we have locally.

I think I'm to unhealthily preoccupied with eggs.

Could be, as the news are stating a shortage of turkeys this year due to bird flu.

Head of Tesco asked by BBC  on TV ref increasing costs and is Tesco passing on some of the increase in prices to the Suppliers and he skillfully moved around that question straight away.

There was a police chase in LA last night, and they forgot to shut the camera off when it was done.

They flew over to a fire, but it had already wound up by the time they got there.
So it was just some nice evening flying shots. Camera stayed on right until they were lowering to the airfield.

So another worker walked out of work yesterday, thats 6 in the last month.
They didn't give notice but just walked post loud aggressive arguments with  a narcissistic boss and a arrogant engineer.
Allegedly fun to watch, being on nights I always get the elaborated version.
Love nights, NO BOSS  .
Company aggressively advertising ( decent money)   but cannot keep machinists, Me wonders why HR are not looking into it (or they prefer the head in the sand approach, which wont help if go's to tribunal) 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
