I suppose Gosport is nearer the equator and may not be suffering like us northerners.

It's bitter all over the U.K. In Manchester, TNG had -5 (celsius) yesterday and I think it was lower today.

Just seen the snow in the South, Nothing in the county of Foxes what so ever. Wife flying back to UK tues morning. Hope Heathrow not shut.

Friday we are Visiting number one son to see him Pass out from Sandhurst, this year has flown for us (possibly not him  ). Royal guests apparently W+K are inspecting them and a regimental lunch thrown in

It's cold here, but there's no snow.  Only ants.  If there's ever been a place in the kitchen where the mixer threw a tiny scrap of cookie dough somewhere and you missed it?  The ants will find it.  They're like an annoying cleaning advisory board that accumulates where those scraps landed and do not disperse until you take the effort to reinforce the idea that they are unwanted visitors.

They must also have uncanny senses of smell since they can locate food sources even in closed containers.  Everything is in a ziploc bag or a hermetically sealed jar.  Otherwise, they figure out a way in.  If humans had a tenth of their coordinated determination and perspicacity, we'd have cured cancer and have colonies on the moon already.

I dunno, hive intelligence leads to circular thinking.

There are six pairs of scissors under my stove, and I've no idea how to get them out.
The scissor cup (I have no veto) is now on the other side of the sink.

How big a gap is there between the lower edge of the stove and the floor?  Clearly it's too small for a broom or you've have gotten them out already.  If you can find a thin dowel or metal pipe that might work to drag them out from their hiding place.  Perhaps a metal spatula?  Or use needle nose pliers with a long butter knife?

There is like zero gap. I watched a video on a similar model to try and get under there, but this one is frustratingly different.

Back from Sandhurst, That year of Number one son becoming a Officer was quick  .
So cold watching the parade from the sands, only one person passed out on the parade ground, who quickly returned post check up.
He was interviewed by TV stations and wife and myself ( quickly moved on) +daughter jumped at the opportunity to be on TV



Being inspected by the Duke of Gloucester, William + Kate couldn't attend due to the Netflix Harry&Megan Netflix series (just in case). 
Sword cost us £800 and is a "Wilkinson Sword", although a foreman purchased some of the Patents which is 100% British made, there is another "wilkinson sword" manufacturer who makes from imported metal. Both manufactured under new names though.

Your unit reminds me of mine. Not that tall yourself and a missus even shorter, but your male offspring are in a different weather system.
