This site isn't (as far as I am aware) perennially on the run from the law.

I do miss moderating the input of tens of thousands of "8ully-clones", which made every day seem like a life time. Thankfully I have no responsibility here, which means the time has flown by!

(I don't miss any of the other Demonoid refuges, the Den and what-not, as I made the mistake of interacting with folk that I would have banned from Demonoid. I didn't make that mistake here)

For me, this place ticks all my social media obligations (I believe social media is obligative, these days) in one. I don't care how much my daughter thinks I'm a dinosaur, I am communicating with others online so I'm done.

(My family have still not forgiven me for attending z's wedding - "you are going to the wedding of someone that not only you have never met but you don't even know their name?". This makes me something of a social media hero, without actually using any of the apps that today constitutes social media)
