Headphones and pc

So when I plug some wireless headphone into usb slot in PC to charge, I get no sound from PC speakers.As soon as I take them out I have sound from speakers ??
Unsure why and cannot fins anything in how I search.
Headphones are just some wireless Soundmagic ones I use for running ????.

Sound output routed to headphones by default when they are plugged in - go into sound settings and redirect the sound output.
