Topic: What's your favourite TV program of the moment?

Im stuck on Battlestar Galactica.
And Doctor Who.
David Tenant is leaving the show this upcomming season during Planet Of The Dead.
He is only doing four episodes.
I really liked him

I was really keen when Battlestar G came out but try as I might I just couldn't make it stick in my head.  I must have watched the pilot 3 times in the hope that it might leave me pining for the nest episode - but sadly it didn't.

As a boy I grew up on Doctor Who - but that was in the days of Patrick Troughton (just about) and Jon Pertwee plus the inimitable Tom Baker.  The latest version though well received, has lost in soul what it gained in visual effects, and casting Billie Piper meant it was over before it began for me.  For me it's like Adam West will always be the best Batman.

Well, I'm sad to admit that I didn't even begin watching Firefly until about 3-4 years after it was canceled.  And it's a great fricken' show too.

That was the same for me and it was hard to watch knowing that soon the episodes would run out, cancelling that show was a real travesty and someone should have lost their job for that.  Who's decision was it I wonder (actual person) I would like to use him/her in the celebrity hangman game

i watched firefly last year for the first time and i thought i was lucky i knew that it was cancelled at least i was prepared for it and was free to hurry to the video store and rent out serenity once i finished watching the last episode - i thought that was a big plus two

I enjoy House a lot too.  It was better for me when I first started watching it though because I really didn't start until late in the third season.  I set my DVR to record all "House" eps and had plenty of good stuff.  It wasn't all in order (there were some marathons so I'd get like 5-8 eps in consecutive order) but for the most part, one can get by watching House out of order.

I also got all the Smallville eps and have watched them all the way to current.  It seems to have lost some of it's newness and I'm not sure if I like how the story line seems to be heading but I enjoy it enough (and have always been a fan of the comics) to hope the show continues.

When I first heard that Lex and Lana wouldn't be back for this last season it bugged me but after watching a few eps, I saw that it was good and Clark and Lois could start their romance.  Then they brought both Lex and Lana back, only to "seemingly" get rid of them again.  I'm not a big fan of the creative license that the writers are taking--I'm a purest to the comic storyline I guess--but it does make it an interesting re-telling of the early days of Superman.  Besides most of the "Superboy" storyline has been retcon'd into other alternate universe Clark Kent's anyway.

We talked about this one way back KA and I liked the premeier but since then..........not really for me. The comic bantering they do is SO out of place. Just cant hang with it. I think Jack was into it though.

I don't require a lot to entertain me. I just can't stomach stupidity. Sometimes I wonder why people just sit back and accept whatever comes on their screen. There are so many programs that I can't imagine people are actually choosing. It's more like the choice is made without the public input.

I've been keeping with Leverage.  I really liked the premiere.  I think the later ones have lost a step but the latest one might be starting something nice.

I watch Farscape a lot.  I think I've watched it three times already this year.  It's my favourite TV program.

The Daily Show now comes on More4 I think.  I normally just download it.

I don't mind the Daily Show.  It can be really funny.  What bothers me though is when people forget that it's a politically-based COMEDY show and not the other way around.  What drives me insane is the 17-15 year-olds who use it primarily to get their political opinions.  Jon Stewart is great, but he'll sacrifice a little interpretation of policy for the joke.
