I miss Spike. Not so much Buffy or Angel, but a character who shows up, mocks everything, eats all the food, then whoops! Kills somebody. Then he skeddadles!
Dru was pretty good for that too, but her back story is bent up. Spike was a nerd who decided being a nerd sucked once that pesky soul was removed. Respect to James Marsters, he said after a time frame he'd be too old to play a vampire and stuck to it.

I guess if you squint and turn your head,  McConaughey did a super bent up version in True Detective.

Nyuck, nyuck.  Just saw the second episode.  It's really good.  But, sniff, no aliens except for the occasional Trotskyite.

I'm enjoying The Good Doctor. The show hits home slightly since my wife and I are raising our severely autistic granddaughter.

Ok. Loving The Strain.

We've been trying to watch it for some time, but for some reason, we both kept falling asleep mid episode. To be honest, the format kinda does that. It seems to have slow sections that you need strong coffee to survive.

Now we've got through the first 7 episodes; we're flying!
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

It really let me down not.to get another season of Dracula or Crossbones

I've finally caught up with the Americans.  The Good Fight is a spinoff of the Good Wife, which was surprisingly good as another American Lawyer soap opera.

The Expanse is back, but I'm back to having to wait for it to air each week. I've caught up on all the books.  It's still pretty good.

We began watching 2 BBC shows:  The Terror and Taboo, both Ridley Scott productions.  Both good.

Billions is back, too, and that's also good.  I've run out of stuff to watch late at night when I'm done working, so I'm open to suggestions.

I was showing mom True Detective, and the chromecast blocked the site on episode five.

gits.

Oh, and their response to this is "view content on our partner platforms".

Oh well, I got to show her the badass no cut tracking shot in episode 4, which was the whole reason I pulled it up for her.

Watching The Handmaid's Tale.  It makes me want to take up a new career as a mad bomber.
