Trust me it's a bloody good show with some well known stars,and co stars.
  Among them Ron(Hellboy)Pearlman,Katey (Turanga Leela) Sagal,to name a couple.
  In my opinion it's the best TV series around for a long time.
Give it till the end of season 2 then tell me it's crap.

I watched the firs 4-5 episodes of SG-U. This is obviously not a rant forum, so I will not express fully my feelings about it.
But what the heck is that piece of s&*t!!!!!!. Seriously, they should change the name to Battlestar Universe. This does not look like Stargate at all! Where are the new alien races? Where are the cool technologies and weapons?
Don't get me wrong. It is a pretty decent show. But it is NOT Stargate.
I guess, after the success of BSG, they tried to make something like it.

Let's not forget that the characters are boring and hard to associate with them.

A friend of mine told me she watched the first few episodes and she did not like them. I was surprised, because she has really good taste in TV.
But I guess, that not everybody like Breaking Bad, a fact I can't understand ...
