I found Threshold a while ago, so I decided to watch it.  It was OK, I'd have liked more spaceships and laser guns though.  I don't think it was bad enough for them to cancel after its first season, but what do I know

There was another one I came across some weeks ago, it was called ReGenesis.  It was about a doctor who went around trying to fix diseases and bioweapons.  The doctor was a cross between Jonathan Creek and sexy genetics graduate.  It was interesting enough to hold my interest for a few episodes, but I've always found biology kind of boring (worst A-Level ever!).  And there were no aliens.  I watched it up to episode 7.

It did feel like they were trying to be scientifically accurate, which was nice.  In that first episode, though, when he magicked the solution, that annoyed me a bit.  They just kind of skimmed over it.  Oh, and I hate babies now.

Benedict Cumberbatch
I saw him in Soho driving a fancy Jaguar very fast.  It was a really nice car.  I want one too :-[

Now Zoidberg is the popular one!

Oooohhhh, I took your post to mean you heard they had ended it (the phrase "last in the series" instead of "season" confuzzled me).  Phew!  I just wish there were more than 3 episodes per season but I'd rather keep it at 3 if it means increasing the number of eps lowers the quality.  It's seriously my new favorite TV show.

There will be a third series. The talk about it being the last series was to try and preserve the mystique of the story.

Keeping it in tune with the subject matter eh?..

I am still trying to get my head around the U.S producing their own "Shameless".  That is one show I thought was quintessentially English.

That won't stop them from doing those "remakes" and being very successful at that. Look what happen with Ugly Betty. Although now that I think about it the original Colombian wasn't good and they still sold it to all America with amazing success.

I have tears in  my stomach muscles from watching Fonejacker - that show should carry a health warning for sure.

While waiting Dexter and Walking Dead,Top Gear Season 17 looks good.
have you tried out Homeland?
someone recommended it to me and i loved it!
the killing wasn't to bad, but Homeland is def liked - from the camera, to the actors, to the writing considering the subject. (also have to admit that i have a soft spot for damian lewis)

and not usually liking documentaries, i started watching some episodes of 'Who do you think you are' for some unknown reason and found it informative and touching, can recommend it. watched mostly the US version. I've only seen 2 episodes of the british version it might be slightly better, at least it's 10 min longer than its US counterpart
(susan sarandon, lisa kudrow, brooke shields and rowling where among my favorites)
