Woe to me, Vikings is over for another year, maybe less.  Game of Thrones still has a couple.
Does anyone know anything like those?  I thought to try Fargo I guess.

Watching
The Unnatural history of London
On BBC 3.   Absolutely fantastic
That sounds interesting.

Another Pretty Little Liars lol. I watch it but is SO far out of bounds for a period piece. Nothing accurate about it but I enjoy the mundane story. I can work on one screen and listen from another.

I'd read somewhere that the actor who played the King was leaving the show, but he sure got to go out in a blaze of glory.  He was so gifted at playing a deranged evil psychotic.  You have to hand it to him.  He really made my skin crawl.

Gleeson is a really good actor, but he has said after GoT he wants to try and pursue another career which is a shame.

I'm enjoying Fargo.

Ripper Street, season 2.
Estragon: I can't go on like this.
Vladimir: That's what you think.

Ripper Street is good.  I've been so out of the loop on watching tv lately.  I'm sort of looking forward to catching up on Justified, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Mad Men and all the PBS programming from the past year I haven't seen (Down town Abbey, Selfridges, Sherlock, etc.).  Work eats my life.

Watched the first episode which was about enough for me.  It wasn't that is was dreadful or anything, I just found it far too removed from the writing of Thomas Harris.

Am I wrong? Did Mr Harris have anything to do with it?

I've read 3 out of the 5 books in the series and I have to say yes. But that may not be bad in itself. The movie Hannibal is the kindergarten version of the book and it's still enjoyable.
I thought I was going to love the series but I didn't. Maybe I should give it another try.

As everyone knows my husband, Mads Mikkelsen, is in this. But I HATE Hugh Dancy as this character and the plot just doesnt grab me. My daughter, on the other hand, LOVES IT!

Was looking forward to Penny Dreadful.
Spoiler (hover to show)

That actually sounds like something I'd watch.

Anyone watched Helix

yes i did actually. it's really bad. but the japanese actor
was pleasant to look at...
Top of the Lake. Absolutely brilliant... hands down the best series I've watched in a long time.
Watched four hours yesterday and just wrapped up the last two.

i absolutely agree with that statement :)
Apparently about a teenager with mental health issues trying to fit in, and it's set in the mid-90s.  She likes the music the use a lot.
.
i watched both seasons and read the books it's based on. it's an excellent show so far. the acting storytelling and music are top. esp. if you are interested in seeing more diverse bodytypes on tv and don't shy away from shows about mental illness.

btw Twin Peaks S 1 is one of my absolutely fav. shows

Watched Broadchurch. excellent TV as well. Esp. if you like shows like Top of the lake.

Waiting for Orphan Black to wrap up the season so that i can binge watch the hell out of it. :D

watched naked and afraid. it's not my fav. show by any stretch of imagination. but it's like an accident to happen. there are plenty accidents that happen. so it's kind of addictive in that way.

really weird concept. feels a
little like the real hungergames aren't too far into the future after all.
