Well, I guess I'll be removing it from my Netflix "list" then.

We started on Haven last night but I wasn't bowled over by the first episode.

It looks good on paper so we'll stick with for a while.

I enjoyed it but I enjoy Stephen King's novels even to a fault at times (hey, I did finish reading the last 3 Dark Tower books).  Like any show nowadays, it seems like it got to the end of it's originally developed storyline, saw there was still money to be had, and started winging it for the next season or two.  But I enjoyed the original story concept, as well as the characters, so stayed with it.  I'm not upset I did, but I do feel they should have quit at the natural stopping point (if you watch it all, you'll know what I'm talking about).

Justified

Heard so much chatter about it that I thought I'd give it a shot (no pun intended). Am glad I did. It's smart and funny with a great regular and floating cast.
In the last 2 weeks I've been galloping through it and am 5 episodes into Season 4 atm.
Estragon: I can't go on like this.
Vladimir: That's what you think.

I'm struggling with Haven a bit. Even at the end of some of the episodes I'm not completely sure of what happened.

I'm hoping that:
a) it will become easier to follow
b) Lucas Bryant's acting improves
c) Eric Balfour will stop reminding me of Sabin (that can be so distracting).

a) It takes a while to catch on.
b) Nathan grows on you...but his acting is pretty much the same throughout.  I think he's channeling his trouble
c) Lol, I never even thought of the comparison (thank gawd) but you're right.

Better call Saul.  Pretty good.  Exceeded my expectations.

series finale was a few weeks ago.   definitely didn't end how I expected it to.

I've always had a thing for Claudia Black but I just watched the episode with her in it and had an "EEK!" moment.

It seems Haven can mess people up in real life...

The Wrong Mans is great.  We are most of the way through the first season.

Car Share is the best comedy show I've seen in years.

Thanks for the tip, smokes.  We're always looking for more comedy.  Currently we're watching Top of the Lake, slow developing but pretty well done detective drama.

Also running Peep Show again for the 3rd or 4th time.  It's great.  Looking forward to the new (and, sadly, final) season..
