Topic: What's your favourite TV program of the moment?

Oh I like this guy, from “The Boys”. Loads of fun.  Maybe that’s him. Maybe he just looks like him in that clip.  It’s not him though, I checked, couldn’t help it, thought it was huey.
  I don’t watch trailers and clips before I watch something I know I want to watch.

Watching Astrid, a French detective show that includes a young woman who is autistic (high functioning) and brilliant at applying her grasp of puzzle solving and very literal logical analysis to a variety of crimes (mostly murders).  It's entertaining.  The female protagonist of The Bridge (original Swedish/Danish version) was a bit more engaging, but it's still pretty good.  On public television in the U.S.

Awaiting to watch the next series of Slow Horses but atm its a complete watch of Endeavour

Endeavour was on last night -- first episode of the last season.  Kind of the sad trajectory that leads to the mature Morse.  The show is well produced and acted. 

We are watching Dix Pour Cent, after watching the more heavy handed English version of the same series.  The French one is more nuanced.  Also saw Grace with John Sim.  It's good but kind of predictable.

Not much inspires me on tv these days.

cHrist reminded me of For all mankind, a show that I'd begun watching but left off after the beginning of Season 2, so I rewatched the first episode of S2 and was reminded that there was all kinds of stuff from Season 1 I'd forgotten about.  One of the benefits of getting older and memory issues is that you can watch the same show again and it's often practically like a new program.

So Glastonbury has finished. Some highs.  Wife wants to go next year 

I DJ'd at Glasto for a few years. Overall, I've probably been there 12 times or so.

You must have looked sorely out of place in a dinner jacket. And the dry cleaning bill must have been horrendous.

I've been to Glastonbury once, while the concert wasn't on.

Lord help me.  I've begun watching "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" on amazon prime.  It's not bad.  Heavy handed the way you'd expect, but it's entertaining at least.

Of course, it can't hold a candle to the most recent season of Babylon Berlin.  What a great show.

The first season was compelling, but S2 was dogshit.

I finished the second season of Baptiste last night and I thought the show ended as it should have.

For me, I found Julien Baptiste's character was so well written I could swear I've met him in real life. That's the feeling I came away with.
